Development of materials for supporting direct solar thermolysis and solar thermochemical redox cycles for H2, CO and O2 generation from water and CO2 (chemical looping).

TEST FACILITIES

  • System for Temperature Programmed Reduction and Oxidation.
  • Microreactor coupled with online gas analysis.
  • Solar concentrator for mounting chemical looping reactor.

TEST TYPES

  • Characterisation of material’s performance in terms of reactivity, structural transformation, also in cycles.

FURTHER SERVICES

  • Testing of materials in “train reactor” configuration mounted on solar concentrator.
