H2SHIFT Launches Its Single Entry Point (SEP) During EnviH2Day 2025 in Turin

On June 11th, 2025, H2SHIFT officially launched its Single Entry Point (SEP) during EnviH2Day, the annual event on hydrogen innovation hosted by Environment Park in Turin. This year’s edition focused on “Research infrastructures, new facilities and opportunities for the development of hydrogen at territorial scale,” and was organized in collaboration with the H2SHIFT consortium.

The SEP is a core element of H2SHIFT: a Horizon Europe-funded Open Innovation Test Bed (OITB) that supports the development and scale-up of innovative hydrogen production technologies across Europe. Coordinated by SNAM and involving 13 partners from industry, academia and research, the project provides companies with access to a pan-European network of test infrastructures and support services.

The SEP serves as the central entry point for startups, SMEs, and larger companies seeking tailored services to advance their hydrogen technologies. It guides users in selecting the most suitable test line, facility, or support service based on their technical and business needs. From initial contact to service implementation, the SEP ensures a smooth and customized path to validation and scale-up.

The service offering includes:

Hands-on collaboration with technical partners across Europe, including two test lines hosted by Politecnico di Torino at Environment Park

  • 9 Test Lines (7 technical infrastructures + 2 business support lines)
  • Advanced capabilities in high-temperature electrolysis, AEM electrolysis, bio-based hydrogen, solar hydrogen, and offshore production
  • Access to modelling, simulation, validation, and acceleration services
  • Hands-on collaboration with technical partners across Europe, including two test lines hosted by Politecnico di Torino at Environment Park

The launch of the SEP highlights H2SHIFT’s role as a catalyst for European technological leadership in the hydrogen sector. By bringing together expertise, infrastructure, and collaborative innovation, H2SHIFT provides an environment where new ideas and solutions can be tested, refined, and brought to market faster.

In late 2025, H2SHIFT will issue the first of two Open Calls via the SEP, offering free access to selected services within the test bed. More details will be shared through the project’s communication channels.
